The Battle of Midway 80th Anniversary

Commander (elect) - 6/6/2022

Select members from VFW Post 6902 contributed both labor and materials to assist the Naval Sea Cadets and Naval Officers in restoration of The Battle of Midway Memorial Park located on Weapons Station Earle. The memorial park was re-dedicated on 06 June, 2022 in celebration of the 80th anniversary of The Battle of Midway.
 
Numerous WWII veterans, senior Navy Officers and Monmouth/Ocean County officials were in attendance to acknowledge the importance of this noted turning point in the second World War, when U.S. Naval Forces struck a devastating blow against the Japanese.
